Motor unusually noisey and oily on the out side.

It looks like this motor was repaired, not new. This is the second device out of 10 items that appears to be used and sold as new.

Pros
  • Reliable little motor, surprisingly high torque.
Cons
  • Not suitable for heavy-duty applications

Great motor with a lot of torque

The motor came very quickly and it runs smoothly and quietly. I'm very new to electronics but it was super easy to set up. I'm using it for my cosplay and I'm very glad with my purchase.

Pros
  • nice little motor
Cons
  • Limited torque range

Great value and utility

Great little motor, I bought the 1000 rpm 24V, I’m using a 30V power supply and it’s easy to adjust the speed by turning down the voltage. I’m using the motor to run a peristaltic pump for an oil test bench. I highly recommend these motors, I’ve bought several others and they seem to have consistent high quality.

Pros
  • Works great for my ultrasonic record cleaner
Cons
  • May require additional mounting hardware

Works great! in my review

I designed a motor mount based off the specs in the listing, and everything fit together flawlessly. I have not measured the max RPM (I ordered the 1000RPM 24v model), but it seems to spin about that fast. A+++ would buy again.

Pros
  • It worked perfectly. A great motor
Cons
  • May require regular maintenance

Disappointed best in my review

Didn’t have the power that I expected, I bought it to motorize a small hand grinder. I read that it was hard to stop, but it could handle grinding a coffee bean. It jammed. Had high hope

Pros
  • Works great just for what I need it for; will be ordering more
Cons
  • May not be as precise as other motors

Using it as a projector motor replacment.

Its slow but using it just as a rest replacement. It works fine and wish I had more specs on it so I know what freq I can run the PWM at without it wining so much. The real problem is its LOUD. It might be all metal but the grinding is just awful under a load. But it dosn't seem to over heat so its a keeper.

Pros
  • The motor runs well and does as required thus far. Hayy days.
Cons
  • Some users may find it difficult to install

Motor works fine but faster than I wanted even running off 12volts. I think it will still work okay for what I'm doing though. Too much trouble to send it back, I need it now.

Pros
  • inexpensive, quiet and good quality.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for continuous use

Don't know who counts RPM's

Actually a great little motor, and I would have given 5 stars, but I ordered a 5rpm motor, and got a 10rpm. I can make it work, but sure wish I'd got what I ordered. Not worth the trouble to send it back, so it only gets 4 stars.

Pros
  • it was fine
Cons
  • A lot smaller what I anticipated. Not sure what good this is for.

Torge was right for my opinion

I setup this motor to rotate my bowls on the tailstock of my lathe so I could paint resin on them while turning. Lathe speed was way too fast at slowest speed so I built my own turner. 30 rpm had just the right amount of torqe to do the job. Motor runs for about 3 hrs while resin sets up.

Pros
  • Motor as expected. No complaints. Good power and very slow RPM as desired.
Cons
  • Struggled to barely move a coolaroo blind with a 18v Dewalt drill battery. now I.just use the drill
