Bent? yes!, update: power tool parts and accessories

I got this in "3 packs" (5/8", 3/4", 1") purchased ) is offered at retail price. Can you believe the end of the drill bit is really bent!? I was drilling a joist in the basement and am considering going through the hassle of returning it. Bent means --- not properly heat treated ---, heat treated parts crack, don't bend, did you say "Greenley"? Surprised. Now for the part where we managed to break the 7/8 inch snail. My husband used the 7/8" slug at an angle due to the tight space it landed in on the wall. I'm not exactly sure what happened - something to do with grunt grunts, but the bit got stuck in the wood. This turns out to be very, very bad, since the snail cannot be flipped. If you think…
