Bought this hole saw because it was the right price and with a carbide tip this thing can cut through anything - I made a mistake cutting 0 .25 sheet steel with no clamps, it got stuck and, oh, butt pinched and then went off again, my 9 amp drill decided to move my wrist in an unnatural and painful way. I've used (and abused) countless cutters to drill holes in metal. They cut well but the mandrels are weak and the bits wobble and don't make a clean round hole. Also, with the exception of cutters with an attachment that must be used in a drill press or a milling machine, they dull quickly even with a large amount of oil. This Greenlee cutter is awesome!
