    Heads fall off easily

This product is not intended for professional use. Stay away from this product in my opinion. The magnets holding the socket are rather weak. Get one with the indented bullet.

    • Excellent construction
    Cons
    • So far so good

    Works well. Still holding on

dear GP outlets. This adapter works well but the magnets broke after a few uses. It has 2 magnets so it still holds sockets with a magnet.

    GP makes great tools!

I have a Principle GP 1/2 nuts that is about 15 years old. They have been used great in a professional shop every day. They have held up so well that I had to buy more.

    Ideal for switching sockets

We frequently check torque in our shop. I have a 3/8 torque wrench and 1/2 bits. This adapter makes it easier to switch between sockets, speeds up the testing process and doesn't wear out my ratchet as quickly.

    Pros
    • Best in class
    Cons
    • I will add later

Second purchase best for hand tools

My friend is a small motor mechanic and has a 3/8 inch percussion gun. While a 3/8" drive is ideal for operation, sometimes a 1/2" drive is needed for properly sized heads. This is the second one we've bought (so that's saying something). The first has been lost. This is a 3/8" to 1/2" adapter for his punch.

    Pros
    • Decent performance
    Cons
    • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

A bit expensive just for the hub, but the reason I buy it instead of the adapter is to save space. takes up only a few millimeters of space when I connect 1/2 sockets to my 3/8" pneumatic ratchet. It says it's for impact sockets, which is great. I have a 1/2" air impact wrench and a full set of 1 /2" power sockets. I just received a 3/8" air ratchet that I want to use impact bits on. This is done without sacrificing too much the benefits of a ratchet (suitable for tight spaces).
