Good price. No explosions yet

This head is used on large hydraulic cylinders and bolts can be very tight. I'm very happy with the cheap head. I use Earthquake along with it.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Unreliable

Just what I needed

This head was needed to tighten the bipod nut on a Chevy steering box. He fitted in well and did his job. Can also be used with an impact wrench which I think is a plus.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Slightly snapped

Get this for easy gear nut removal

Get this for easy gear nut removal. had a modified 12 point, it's much better. used with bleepinjeep gear tool. easy as can be. and I was concerned that removing this gear would turn into a nightmare

Pros
  • Few competitors

Just what I needed

None of the local stores had this so it was my only choice. I had to remove and reinstall the gear nut from the D60. All you need is along with a gear nut tool that attaches to the yoke. Good product and didn't explode in my face.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Empty

Used to remove the bipod arm nut on the 2005 Suburban 2wd.

If you are replacing the bipod arm, take this. Just spend a few dollars and get the right tool for the job. This part is stuck and needs to be tightened again. Fits perfectly. It would be nearly impossible to try to loosen it with a wrench or pipe wrench.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Obsolete

The Right Tool for the Job

You're probably reading this because you did what I did, slid under your device and prepared to pull the gear to realize that you don't have the right outlet. I bought this to replace a transmission seal on a 2001 Grand Cherokee (WJ) with a Dana 44A rear diff. I knocked the resin out of this socket and it just kept asking for more. This is a quality product that I seriously doubt I will ever need to buy again.

Pros
  • Convenient
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Mediocre quality product for daily/regular use.

I ordered 2 of these impact sockets for use at work. I'm a line manager for a pressurization company operating in the Eagleford Shale (oil field for you 9-5's). I use this socket to remove the suction manifold bolts on hydraulic fracking pumps with a DeWalt 20V or Kobalt 24V cordless impact tool. 20 screws. at a time. I ordered these sockets in April and started using them in early May. Used for maybe 50 pumps between a pair. Last week a socket burst while tightening the screw. Half of the…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Poor design
