Description of πͺ Revolutionizing Precision Cutting with Grinder Chain Tooth Angle Center
Angle Grinder Disc Chainsaw takes the muscle work out of cutting, carving, removing and sculpting of wood, plastics, ice and hard rubber with their speed and maneuverability. The chain saw blade is held in place between two steel plates which provides a secure grip for carving. Regardless of grain or knots the blade cuts through the material with ease to the user. Our 22 tooth design provides a smooth "finished" surface which is great for minimal sanding afterwards. Chains can be either be sharpened using a chain saw file or replaced as need be. This grinder chain disc is great for curved work, like the inside of bowls, for fast waste removal.
This thing was just what I was looking for to rough up a barn's woodshed. Cuts like a chainsaw with the agility of an angle grinder. The supplied plastic center piece holds the 3 parts together. It must be removed to install on an angle grinder. This means you have to align 3 separate parts (top metal holder, bottom metal holder, middle cutting chain) on the grinder. It's not that hard, but I can see that losing one of those parts makes the whole thing useless. I wish they all rode on a centerβ¦
The first thing that struck me when I took this tool out of the box was that the chain is replaceable. It's good and that's one of the reasons I bought it. But the discs that hold it all together are surprisingly thin. And when separated from a grinder or pneumatic tool, this tool just falls apart. There are no bolts or screws holding themselves together. This makes it easy to change the blade, but unless you're absolutely sure you're putting it back together correctly and that the discs aren't
The thing does exactly what it should! He chews firewood like no other. However, be sure to wear protective gear and hold onto the sawβit's a chainsaw blade, after all, just on a smaller scale. I had no problem cutting indentations in a large Catalpa stump to use as a planter after getting used to the way it cuts a bit, how to hold the grinder, angles etc. A very useful tool when you need power to cut large areas. Of course not much for fine carving, but for mass removal of material they areβ¦
