Sturdy and long enough for a secure fit

I find this to be simply the best fastener for attaching kitchen cabinets to shelves. The case is 3/4 thick with a 2 x 5/8 drywall firewall, you still have over an inch of hairpin grip.

The Best Cabinet Screws You Can Buy!

These cabinet screws are just what you need when what you're hanging on the wall is heavy and needs to be securely fastened. However, this assumes that you drive the screws into the wall studs. These screws are only for screwing into a wall stud for hanging things like cabinets or that stuff just mentioned. They are not designed to be screwed into drywall only. Great Screw!: Fastener

I bought these based on recommendations on internet forums that said these screws were easier to thread into studs - and they were right! It's a lot easier than the screws I originally used to hang the Ikea clothes rails. I was very frustrated that I couldn't get the other screws in - they're easier to screw in without requiring a lot of brute force or pilot drilling.
