Grundens DECK BOSS Sandal: Sturdy and Supportive Footwear for Men – Ideal for Rugged Activities Review

The Deck Boss sandals fit great, especially with the non-slip Seadek padding under my foot. I've read that some nations' sandals smell terrible. When I took her on a boat a month later, soaked my feet in salt water and went to different breweries, I didn't experience it at all. You will be completely satisfied with these durable sandals. Well made, durable, non-slip and very, very comfortable. At this price, waterproof flip flops are hard to beat. The only problem (if you can call it that) is that the black Seadeck cuts into the bottoms of my feet, turning my soles black. Bought to wear on the boat while fishing etc. There are more comfortable sandals out there but I was looking for something with good grip on the deck and also when the sole of the foot/top of the insole gets wet. They are great at that. Others like Reef, Rainbow, Columbia, Olukai, etc. can get slippery between foot and sandal. The sandals are good and do not scratch the boat. but after less than ten fishing trips they stink. I've tried rinsing and washing and I don't have any other shoes that smell like this. they are a bit terrible. I throw them away.

I'm a size 11 in every flip flop, shoe or boot I've ever bought. Bought these sandals a size 11 and they are 1 inch too long. I've had reef, rainbow and other nameless flip flops, I know how they're supposed to fit. They are either much larger than advertised or mislabeled. I sent them back.

the actual sea deck over the souls of these. comfortable, non-slip and beautiful flip flops. I have a few pairs of Olukais and love them, but Grudens work better on the boat when wet and are more affordable. I've only had it for a short time so durability is TBD but so far everything seems great.

I treat flip flops the same way I treat mattresses, sunglasses, power tools - things that are used every day and need to be of good quality. I've tried all the top fishing sandals and before I found these Simms I went with them. It's important not to slip on a hard day or when standing on a peeling platform, and they hold like suction cups. I can safely say that these are the best boat flip flops to use in the wet. Well worth the extra $30-$40 versus the hospital bills if you fall 6 inches down

This was a Christmas present for my husband who now has a pair of Simms. Grundens was recommended to me as a brand comparable to Simms. The man said they fit well.

This was my least favorite pair of flip flops I've had in a long time, I've had pairs from Kai Kais, Olukais, Reefs, Salt Life. I bought them for fishing but they don't stretch or kill my legs. I'll stay with Olukais on the fishing trip.

My husband is on the boat all the time and needs flip flops that stay in place on the boat. He didn't complain, so I think they're doing their job. I'm giving it 4 stars because of the high price.

Bought at the end of April and used constantly from May to August. Pros: comfortable, aesthetic, odorless, cushioning on the boat is good and durable. Cons: Generally insufficient slip resistance on boat deck and dock. My expectations were more related to the type of sole used in high-end Sperry products. Wouldn't buy it again for boating but would recommend for the beach/everyday use.

Phenomenal quality! The insole is as comfortable as you can imagine on a SeaDek flip flop. An added bonus is the fairly effective arch support. These are durable flip flops for sand, salt and heat.
