We use these to protect wooden floors from scratches in our aging lab. They work very well except sometimes they slip off. We have found that the Velcro straps need to be very snug to keep the dog from losing them and the very tight fit doesn't seem to bother the dog. At first our dog was a bit clumsy, but he quickly got used to it. She takes a weird high step in her boots.

I bought these for our 15 week old Aussiedle puppy. I ordered a size down after reading other reviews but wish I had ordered 2 sizes down and got XXS. Its paws are almost fully grown, about the size of an Aussie/Border Collie, and the XS is a bit oversized (around 18 pounds). BUT they still stick to it quite well and do their job. I find them fairly easy to put on and very easy to take off. You have to be careful not to get your claws caught on the inseam when you put them on, so I'd be careful

Finding boots for every dog can be difficult. What works for one dog may not work for another. But for my current Walker Hound, these boots are by far the best for her. She takes them well, they fit her well and stay put unless we're in deep snow. The design is simple and they are relatively easy to put on.
