REALLY useful to have this activation when you are in the back room and don't know if anyone has entered the driveway. (or went through the fence into the yard and crossed the beam to the house, etc.). You can also connect several SENSORS and program them for different sounds. I am in no way affiliated with this company and this unit was excellent. And I've had them for about a year now. The sensor is at the top of the lane about 50-75 meters from the house and shop where I have 2 receivers. The sensor is approximately 2 to 3 feet above the road surface, tilted slightly downward and at an angle of approximately 20º to the direction of the road. I am very satisfied with the Guard line products. I bought 2 receivers and 4 transmitters to cover different areas of my property. I have one at the end of my driveway about 300 feet from home and both recuperators pick it up with no problem so performance is great. Although the sound parameters are terrible.
