Well made but wrong size

Doesn't hold my phone very well, the 'fingers' going up are tiny so unreliable. The silicone chevron strap is too small to be useful. I have an LG Journey with a case and it's quite a small phone but it's impossible to stretch the silicone enough to get into the corners. I will use it to keep my phone on my trainer when using Zwift, but I definitely wouldn't trust it to hold my phone securely enough during an actual ride.

Holds my iPhone 8+ well

I used the included elastic strap when I first used it on my 100 year bike ride. Then I realized that I was fine without it. It also protects my phone quite well on bumpy roads or accidentally hitting potholes. In fact, I was more worried about my tires than throwing away my phone. I've only had it about 100 miles so I'm not sure how the brace will hold its shape and come loose quickly on a bumpy road like every other brace I've had.

Do not buy this version!

I should have gone with my gut when the phone didn't have a top or bottom stand and shouldn't have bought it. I mounted it at a slight angle and first twisted the clip tight enough to attach my phone, at least I thought so. What's more, I can break my phone. Then I went horseback riding. After a few bumps in the road and vibration it detached and my phone fell off scratching the screen and almost got hit by a car in the middle of the road! I'll send it back as soon as possible!

Good quality and value.

In this case, I can't find anything wrong with the main product. Good compatibility. Additions such as silicone holders and pads are more of an afterthought, although they show a desire to meet customer needs. I use this unit on an old road bike with 25.4mm (1") handlebars. The mount fits fairly well. The handlebar clamp with spacer holds effectively. I run the mount without the silicone mount and the adjuster screw doesn't seem to tighten I would be more worried if riding off road or on a…

This is a good starting point, but more support is needed to truly secure your phone.

DO NOT rely solely on the tension of this clip to hold your phone to a bike or motorcycle. I noticed that my phone no longer vibrates on a motorcycle (Kawasaki Ninja 500). Also note how short the 4 "fingers" are on this phone clip. They are not deep at all, so you'd better have a VERY flat phone case if you want to use that. However, I highly recommend getting one of those spider web style straps that wrap around the back of your phone and clip to ensure your phone doesn't fall off if lost. I…

Surprisingly good phone holder

If you're ready to either take your phone out of a case or use a thin silicone case, this is a really good phone mount. The finger angle is just right for my iPhone X and can work with thicker phones. They give you sticky finger gum that works great but I don't know how long the gum will last. I put 3M tape on the bottom of the mount to avoid scratching the bottom of the phone - not really, but I'm being paranoid.
