Funny but fragile toys and gags

Our family loves tossing these planes around the streets. Unfortunately, they wear out after just a few days, which affects their performance.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Useless features

Easy. Easy to use.

Only a VERY tiny, tiny drop of glue needs to be used to hold the tail section in place when landing - not too much to affect the weight. Our 3 year old loves them and is learning to put them on.

Pros
  • Enjoy
Cons
  • Don't remember

Fancy Favors in Airplane Kits

These are good big gliders. Great gifts for parties! Individually wrapped, but two per box. It would be nice if each of these came with assembly and setup instructions instead of being printed on the box.

  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Mostly Good, But...

Too expensive for poor quality

For the price I expected them to last at least half an hour on the plane. Every plane crashed in five minutes - or three flights. If the price was $0.50 I would understand. It was a complete scam

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Not worth the money

It will not fly in the plans. I had to add weight up front to make them fly. I found a dime taped to the front weight was just what I needed. When they flew they didn't fly straight, I had to move the front wing to the side to make them fly straight. I wouldn't but they do it again and don't recommend them.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Nothing with it

For an experience for a small child

What I like about them is that they fly. What I didn't like is that they are expensive, I paid $24 for 6 of them. I remember there were many, much less when I was a kid. You could print them on both sides of the plane. For example, print the pilot's drawing on only 1 side of the aircraft. The tree is very weak and the child cannot assemble it without splitting the tree. This is a tight fit.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Funny but not the best brand in my opinion.

This is a lot of fun. I buy them before the grandkids come to visit and they are great fun in the great outdoors. I always explain to children that they break. If treated with care, they will last longer before breaking, but they will break. However, I bought a different brand last year and they seemed more fragile than the other brand. It looks like they reduced the thickness of the parts. I say that because they don't appear to have changed the thickness of the case cutouts, so the parts fit…

Pros
  • Permanent test results

Have fun, pure fun!

Let me start by saying that I will soon be 77 years old. I hadn't thought of these little light aircraft for many years until I saw them here today. Now that I have grown (and almost grown) grandchildren, it is my pleasure to share with them the great joy of flying these little Balsam wooden airplanes. I think the biggest surprise for me was not only that they were in stock, but that they were made by the same company that made them back in the 40's when I got at least a few new ones every…
