I'm only giving one star because I had to. It literally broke within the first week we had it. When we completely disconnected on day 4, we put in new batteries and thought we didn't know how long the old ones had been in use. I was working another day and my son had to press the button hard for him to check in. So we decided to just download the Roku remote app.

This is an IR (Infrared Remote Control) so it will work with any ROKU box. I was very happy with it so I ordered 2 more. The RF remote that comes with the latest Roku 4K is great, easy to use especially with on/off and volume but when you're ready to turn the volume and On/off on the remote, it's the perfect device to access ROKU box functions. Works on Roku 3, Roku 4.

We have an old TV and an old Roku player. Our one year old grandson took the remote control and hid it somewhere in our house?! We had to buy a replacement remote and it worked with no problems! Again, this is for older TVs and Roku and we've had no issues at all. I'm glad we got it. Now we're going to keep it in a drawer so the kid won't find it when it arrives. Haha! As other people have said, it doesn't have a headphone jack, but we never used that feature on the original remote.

Handy, inexpensive service. Stream movies, TV programs and more from your computer to the Internet for free. We're now saving about $80 a month by getting rid of network packages. There are no fees for watching movie packages. However, we're looking at what we'd like to see about Wi-Fi internet combined with Roku services. The remote is designed for the Roku service with hundreds of free options and movie types. The only way! That is my opinion as a retiree and veteran.

The remote control is very cheaply made. You have to press the keys deeply to make contact. In the attached photo, the original Roku Premiere+ remote is larger and has a purple tab. There is a volume control and a headphone jack. The original remote weighs 104g (3.65 oz) with batteries, while the cheap Gvirtue remote weighs 64g (2.25 oz). When the remote stopped working, I checked the batteries. Still new. I checked the contacts, everything seems fine. To give up. Note that it's worth playing…

AMAZING. I have the Roku app on my phone, but if for some reason your Roku disconnects from your network and you have to enter your WiFi password, the only way to get to the settings screen seems to be using the remote. And if, like me, you've lost your remote control, you're screwed! So I ordered this, crossed my fingers, waited 3 days and watched network tv. And when it arrived. it worked! 2 minutes later I got my Roku back. Needless to say, I'll probably order a backup in case I lose this…

It syncs immediately, which is nice, but this is a replacement for my remote control, I already had half the buttons stop working. It's smaller, my daughter doesn't have a headphone jack when I'm at work.
