Worked great. until the pen stopped working

It seems a very good product, I've been using it for a while without any problems. Then one day I plug it in and it gets stuck at full brightness and won't turn off until I unplug it. I don't think I abused him at all, I don't know what caused it. I would like to give a five star rating if this issue is resolved, but I don't see a good way to contact GVM to resolve this issue.

Reasonable Price, Delivery Attention

Spotlight is a good deal, especially for beginners or those who need an inexpensive addition. The fan is fairly quiet and doesn't seem to get louder as the brightness increases. It mounts beautifully on typical stands and the Bowens mount is a great feature. I've added an Aputure Light Dome Mini II and it fits perfectly (try ordering direct from Aputure when Revain and B&H are on standby). The only thing that confuses me is that it comes without the main box lid, not even sealed with tape…

Good light / fake reviews?

Illuminated only. It's naked, simple, and I love it. It has a handle on the back. Turn it up or down. Being simple is good. I don't like that the info on the seller's page doesn't include specific numbers or light information. No data lux? It is very important. I'm pretty sure 60% of these reviews are either fake or a review for a different product. Because they do not match the description of the item I received at all. Some say it comes with a controller. It is not. Some say it has a button…

Inexpensive. Quality light!

I am a professional photographer and cameraman and needed a small, lightweight, high CRI, extremely portable flashlight; with the intention of building a kit. I bought GVM to try it out. And as soon as I unpacked it, I was very happy with it. This GVM flashlight offers excellent value for money. The high and extremely accurate color CRI is a great advantage and a good starting point. At 80 watts it's not super bright but it's a fantastic extra light and I plan on getting a few more. The Bowens…

EDIT: Very bright and versatile light, 1 flickers above 50% intensity

EDIT: I've only used them a couple of times and 1 out of 3 bulbs I've bought have a flickering problem when switched on. somewhere above 50% brightness. I have contacted the company and will update the review accordingly. To be honest the lights are fantastic and I'm downgrading from 5 stars to 3 just because one of the lights is unusable. 2. EDIT: We replaced the block via GVM and the new one works great. However, after only a month or so one of the cables + adapters seems to have failed and…

Decent light, but it has two drawbacks

The light from this 80W GVM LED steady light is good and I like the simplicity of the design (plugs straight into the wall, no bulky control boxes or cables) but it has a few notable flaws. 1) He is loud. Maybe it's just the model I have, but I don't understand other people's comments about it being "quiet" compared to the Godox Sl-60W. I have an SL-60W and its fan is quieter than a GVM bulb. My microphone picks up the GVM fan with no problem. 2) Power on/off and brightness are one button. That

Arrived damaged and with previous use

Not sure if Revain or the manufacturer/dealer screwed it up. Item arrived with power cords unwound (visibly used and carelessly placed in foam). Not straight from the factory I'm guessing, although the box appeared to be sealed properly. Also, the foam isn't enough to protect the front reflector, which was dented on the outside edge (the box looked fine, so I suspect the box collapsed/crushed a bit at some point). Was the return sold as new? Luckily, Revain sent a replacement immediately. Good…

Much better than Goddox SL 60w or Aperture 120D

I hired operators to bring an Aperture 120D to the set which works well and is well built. But like most other LED video lights, it has a massive ballast and controller. All have to be connected via wires, making the light kit gigantic, not portable at all and very difficult to set up. For someone who constantly flies to shoot, the ability to pack gear into cases is just huge. I have a Goddox SLB 60w which is very similar to a visor light but is MUCH more portable and faster to set up thanks to
