45 Speed Steel Gauge for Gyros 22010 Review

Bought these drill bits to clean emulsion tubes and injectors in small carburetors installed on 25hp engines. and under. Generators, lawn mowers etc. Works great.

These new dull drill bits, right out of the holder, weren't drilled into soft brass. Part broke in half on first use. Bad product. Don't buy them. Maxon or MicroMark bur sets are the best choice. Those gyroscopes are absolutely useless!

This is my second set, the first set has lasted over 20 years. Have a good vise and use it on plastic or wood materials. Not recommended for use on metal. A Dremel drill will also fit sizes #61-67. Use a smaller size reticle (#68-80). Just my opinion based on years of use.

Bought these to get finer jet control on a 2002 50cc 2-stroke Yamaha Vino that was converted with a 70cc big bore kit. They are very durable, be sure to use a hand drill and lots of oil. In terms of accuracy, I think these are AWG readings. So make sure you do the appropriate calculations when re-ejecting or you'll mess up your size.

I was surprised they didn't bend or break under hand pressure with a hand vise. Drilled 27 holes with a .025 bit in 1/4 thick very hard plastic. I was very surprised when they didn't bend or break when used with a Dremel power tool. Buy the same as the chuck to use these drill bits on my Dremel tool. I drilled 36 holes with a .031 bit in a teflon guide.

I bought these to replace the bits that came with the inexpensive vise that I used primarily for drilling out cannon barrels on Warhammer 40k miniatures. These bits had a hard time drilling through plastic and I ruined a few barrels as a result. These are way, way better. They bite the plastic easily and stay inside. I can let the vise do most of the work. It is also easier to center the drill in the barrel. Highly recommended.

I work with mowers, mostly carbureted systems, some fuel injection but 95% carbureted. The new square plastic carburetors from Briggs and Stratton have a .013" main jet. Almost all others are about .028" in diameter. Smaller ones tend to clog and make starting impossible. Sometimes I drill problematic ones down to .020 to keep them from clogging. The good news about this set is that they are ok so i can always get what i want i use them all the time.

First time. I used a drill and found it 10 times sharper and easier to start in this plastic model than any other drill that came with the pin drill. The junk bits only worked after using the gyroscope bit to make a smaller starting hole. That was just as important. The set was missing two pieces upon arrival. Out of curiosity I found the cool gyros website and contacted them. In less than a week I had a package with two pieces missing! The woman who helped me was amazing!

This is a very good set. I bought it mainly for cleaning and raising small engine carburetor jets. The fact that they stand upright in their own exact sized holes is very handy for finding the right size. They're well sharpened, so if you're patient you can easily drill a slightly larger hole. When I received the kit, two bits were knocked out of their holes and one bit was broken, I believe due to rough handling by someone in the shipping process. For the first time with such tiny drills. This was an attempt to drill a 1mm check valve into a part I couldn't find. I was surprised the .035 didn't come off. My cheap drill had quite a bit of vibration and wobble, but the drill steel was flexible enough to handle it. Please note that I purchased a collet small enough for these drill bits from this manufacturer.
