They arrived with rusty parts and when you attach them to the cage they are not aligned at all, they are skewed. Very smooth wood and both my birds HATE them.

I have used these perches for my cockatiels and kennel cages. I think it will make a great sleeper bass. It's broad and strong. I came up with only one washer per perch to attach to the cage. I really feel like two pucks per perch would be better

I wasn't sure about this bar when I opened the box. It actually took over a week before I finally decided to put him in a cage. But my parrots love it! I have four birds in a huge cage and they all love to sit in it. Very easy to install and the price is fantastic. I will buy it again and recommend it to every parrot owner.

This is a really good perch. but the rust tells me it's not the stainless steel the birds need. Luckily the screw isn't there. I can replace the large washer and wing nut with stainless steel components from the hardware store. I bought two sets. Only one sentence was rusty - this is happiness. Now I know I need to replace the metal before use.

Birds shouldn't have smooth perches 24/7. If this is the case, over time they will begin to shed scales on their legs, leading to ulcers on them.
