🥘 Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker, 10 Quart Extra Large Capacity, Stay or Go Portable with Lid Lock, Dishwasher Safe Crock, Black (33195) Review

BIG, just what I wanted! I've only used it a couple of times, once to cook a whole chicken and twice to make a large batch of soup. It is convenient to take it to family gatherings as the 18L electric fryer was too big and the regular slow cooker was too small. Happy with it so far. It has standard controls that are also easy to take with you to meetings so everyone knows how to set it up, as opposed to digital settings.

This is very good but it's only 8 litres. The Revain website and packaging says 10 litres, model #33195. We measured the capacity and when filled with 8 liters of water the water level was at the maximum fill line. The addition of the 9th liter of water almost made it overflow. It is also advertised as a 10 liter model on the Hamilton Beach website and another 10 liter model is advertised on the Hamilton Beach website. or

The outside of the slow cooker needs cleaning. I wiped it off with a damp paper towel and the writing on the handle faded. The slow cooker was only 2 1/2 months old. I contacted Hamilton Beach to get a new pen. They said that there are no spare parts for this multi cooker. They will replace it, but the consumer pays for shipping. They didn't offer a refund and claimed it wasn't bought from them. Bought from them by Revain. Customer service is terrible. Offering a defective product and the same…

UPDATED: I returned the first pot (due to the issues listed below) but was so impressed with the size (big family here) that I decided to give the replacement another try. It still has slits in the lid. I can only imagine that this increases the cooking time considerably! There are also pits on the second shard (see photo).
