🍞 Hamilton Beach Black 2-Slice Toaster with Extra-Wide Slots, Shade Selector, Toast Boost, and Auto Shutoff (22633) Review

I bought this toaster because our old toaster didn't have slots big enough for bagels and it was old. This toaster is great and has a blue light that lights up when in use. There is also a cancel button that dispenses the bread immediately.

This toaster toasts bread and bagels to a nice golden brown when turned all the way up. If you want your toast to be a little burned around the edges like I am, or even just a darker brown, it won't be able to do it in one cycle. However, press it a second time and it will burn it if you want.

I missed the return window. I thought optimistically that maybe it just needed "breaking in". This toaster deserves a minus star! This is not toast! The picture I uploaded is typical if not better than most days. I will not donate this unit to charity for fear someone else will lose their money if it turns up at a thrift store.

Full size croissant sandwich machine. i love this car It thaws my frozen bread perfectly. Fry my Costco croissants to perfection. Hot dog buns, hamburger buns, etc. I'm just pissed that I didn't get a four slot toaster. A great machine for any farm and the price is even better. You don't need thousands of buttons or options. You need crusty bread! It does it to perfection!

I never write reviews but felt I should warn others who are considering buying this toaster: DO NOT buy it! I figured since I was buying a mid-range toaster it would be of better quality. As soon as I unpacked it, I knew it was cheap. Even in the darkest mode, it doesn't roast. It just dries out the bread without actually toasting it. DO NOT BUY! Terrible product!

I had a great white plastic toaster, it lasted 8 years, worked great, gave up when my new toaster arrived. This is an attractive toaster with a light weight and sleek design. I threw it in the trash today when it stopped working after only 2 months. It fried unevenly. The metal around the top can burn your fingers when removing a toasted item. Of course I want my cheap, white, reliable, perfectly working, ugly toaster back!

This toaster is rubbish! The bagels are meant to be toasted by heating the center coil sets like a traditional toaster, leaving only the outer coil sets to perform the heating function. I had to set the browning dial to 7 (highest) and run it through 2 cycles to get a lightly toasted bagel. I also missed a slice of bread at shot #7 but didn't hit the bagel button. He toasted both sides, but the bread didn't get very dark, it was still eatable. I would have thought that the highest setting would

This is a disappointing purchase made at the end of December 2016. Now it is broken (after 3 months). We chose this product because our previous Hamilton Beach Plain Toaster has served us well for many years.
