I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this leash, especially given the price, but I was pleasantly surprised. It doesn't look like it will break if my 50 lb dog pulls too hard. My dog doesn't like to pull very much, but the nylon lines burn my hands with the slightest tug from the dog. I ordered this leash based on the positive reviews about the product. Unfortunately, the leather is only finished on one side, making the other side look like sandpaper. The inside of the handle is also untreated, making it uncomfortable to hold. When I had to temporarily shorten the leash by putting it in my other hand, it was very inconvenient.
