The fabric in woven collars is not as dense as in solid color collars, so I'm not sure if it's suitable for very strong dogs. Solid color collars are very durable. Everything about this collar is really good except for sizing issues (which are mentioned in almost every review I've read). Even after reading other reviews' suggestions, I still ended up choosing the wrong one, so I'm posting a photo of the collar so you can see for yourself where the holes are. I will echo many others when I say this is a GREAT collar - once you are the right size! This is the only reason the product was given 4 stars.
