The rooster hammock is good for fish and aquatic animals

I have a large aquarium and wanted to make sure my rooster fish had plenty of space to rest, so I bought these. I already had a few from my previous aquarium. In total I placed 7 leaf hammocks on different levels. He doesn't really use them much. He prefers to sit in floating logs, but sometimes I see him pausing briefly on one of the leaves. They adhere very well to the aquarium wall and have a foldable foot so the foil can be tilted at any angle. There is nothing rough or sharp on the fins…

Hammock Betta excellent quality!

Bettas breathe naturally from the surface through their labyrinthine organ. These leaf hammocks reduce stress when sleeping or resting, allowing them to breathe easily. I haven't had roosters for a few years because I have large aquariums. Typically, a sheet from a zoo med Betta hammock retails for around $7. For this price you get four pieces to put around your tank. I have 5.5 gallons and only use two. I'll keep the other two in reserve. They are actually better quality and better suction…

Can KILL the fish! Green dye from hammocks has messed up my aquarium!

Okay so I gave this product 2 stars because of my Betty fish hammocks. But the negative stars are for the cheap chemical used to turn those leaves green. I bought these 2 weeks ago and had to change the water 3 times without realizing it was stupid new leaves I put in the tank! If you look at the photos you can see the green covering is already coming off the leaf and the other picture shows my fish swimming in green muddy water because of these hammocks. This is a dangerous product for your…

Beautiful view. Good suction power. extra for replacement.

I recently moved my cockfish to a larger aquarium that is much higher than the previous one. Now he has to keep swimming to get to the top, where he likes to hang out. I ordered this set of 4 hammocks to give him space to relax on top. I placed 2 sheets side by side but slightly overlapping to form a large even perch. The leaves are a pleasant light green color and are soft and smooth to the touch. They're also flexible but don't have any sharp wires sticking out and the suction cups seem to…

Now I have a lounge lizard!

After reading many reviews I was skeptical and bought a set of 4 individual petals. Read many previous reviews and rate them highly. I had ideas as he used one spot as a small perch to observe everything that was going on. Well what can I say we have a lazy Betta now. He is always idle or more or more. Judging by the pictures, I'm superficial. Starting at maybe 1.5 inches at the top and 3 inches at the bottom. (photos attached) he has no problem raising his fins out of the water or he just lays

Better than expected

I just added some leaves to my tank so I'm not sure Bruce would do it but wanted to write a review to clarify the issues others mentioned. I was apprehensive about buying these based on some of the reviews but issues were mentioned in every leaf hammock available. I think that scared me the least. Several reviews say the blade is stiff and sticks straight up, or the plastic is sharp. I don't have these problems at all. Mine are flexible with wire attached, and not only are the sides not sharp…

Broken blades, wire protruding

I bought these after reading how to create a shallow ecosystem that mimics the natural habitat of bettas. When I received the sheets, I first washed them with water and then started to bend them slightly. With 2 blades, this action immediately resulted in the wire sticking out in the center of the blade. It only protruded a little, but I was worried because the betta's fins don't tolerate sharp objects. I was very upset and thought I couldn't use the leaves. I decided to pull the wire out…
