Beautiful set. There are some minor flaws but i expected that since it is handmade. The layers of the green onyx really come out beautifully due to the way they are shaved. The storage case is much nicer than expected and the board its completely smooth, with no gaps between the spaces. my one complaint would be that the bottom of one of my knights is not completely flat and it wobbles slightly. I do wonder if it would be nice to have felt on the bottom of the pieces but it's possible the maker

This marble chess set stands alone as a great game and a beautiful display piece. I was between this set and the larger 16 inch marble set made by the same manufacturer but I settled on the 12 inch set instead. The price increase of more than double is simply too much to pay for what is essentially the same game albeit slightly larger.

My 15yr old is an aviad Chess player. In fact he just competed in the state championship today. I wanted to get him something that way made to last years to come, with hopes he'll one day teach his kids with this set. He absolutely LOVES it! Beautiful! Great craftsmanship. Very satisfied!

(pictures)2. the pieces are hand-maded, the height difference between the pawns is 3-4 mm.(pictures)3: the package is styrofoam and adhesive-tape. ugly, but keep safe the pieces under the transit. (pictures)over this things, the chess table, and the pieces too, are still beautiful.

Bought this as a Christmas present for a friend who collects chessboards. So far she loves it and actually keeps it on display. Her only complaint was that the bottom of the pieces don’t have any felt on them so they don’t glide across the board very easily however it was a quick fix after buying some felt. Now it’s perfect

The pictures show the darker color being vibrant and rich but what you get is not at all like picture. Much more muted and overall just meh for the price. I wouldn’t have spent this much had I known the color difference in person.

I bought this as a gift. I checked out the pieces before I wrapped it and the marble is of excellent quality. Very nice storage case with molds for each piece to set into. Very pleased.

This is a great chess set. It's a permanent fixture on the dining room table, so we can easily start up a game while eating or immediately afterwards. Beautiful marbled green and solid white.

The two colors of the chipped pieces are clear and white. Our pieces won’t even stand up with the felt pads applied. Looks nothing like the ad.

Some reviews stated there were pieces missing or damaged so I was a little apprehensive to purchase, but the style will fit so perfect in my living room I ordered it anyway. So glad I did! Came perfectly in tact with zero damage and it’s gorgeous! So happy with the purchase

This Chess set is very beautiful. All marble very well made. This set also comes with felt for the bottom of the pieces. I would recommend this set to anyone who is a chess enthusiast.

Picked out by my daughter, who loves the white and green marble pieces. Looks great set up in her room and would also make a great show piece in a living area. Only downside is that is does NOT come with a storage case. We saved the packaging so when we move, we can safely tuck it away. Weighs a ton, showed up on time, robust packaging, no damaged pieces.

I love this chess set! Well made. Durable. My son loves it, too. Nice heavy chessboard. The chess pieces are nicely made.

The colors of the pieces are not very different making it difficult to distinguish between green and white.I also am going to have to purchase felt feet to go on the bottom of the board so that it doesn’t scratch my table.It is very pretty and incredibly heavy. I wish it had a case so that it doesn’t have to stay out all the time.

My second order from the manufacturer since was happy with first set I got for someone else. manufacturer overall does a good job with the marble pieces and customer service also seems above average . lovely set for the price!
