👕 Black Hanes Short Sleeve Beefy T-Shirt: Men's Clothing Shirts Review

Luxuriously thick! Compared to my own 3-pack of Hanes (which you usually get at Walmart) and another basic brand of shirts I had lying around at home (a basic H&M t-shirt), this Hanes Beefy is definitely a quality product. I don't have a scientific method to compare thread counts or anything, so I'm uploading a picture of the hem of these three shirts side by side to show how much heavier the fabric is for this product.

This was a terrible purchase. Hanes Beefy-Ts were great shirts for the money. Well, not anymore. The one I just bought has never been worn. I just opened it up and threw it in the washing machine before putting it on. *This shirt fell apart in the first wash. *See the photo I attached, the whole end result just fell out. waste of time and money. Hanes t-shirts are apparently in the garage now. What is sad. The only good thing about this experience was Revain's return policy.

Hanes used to be a reliable manufacturer. They must have outsourced their factories. Anyway, now I understand why Fruit of the Loom took so much business from them. I can wear size 3x and it won't be too tight. I booked 4 times to sleep because I like the extra room. I always wash and dry my shirts before wearing them to get rid of the chemical smell. Trash! A long time ago they looked like GI shirts. You now have stretched neck straps that stretch with washing! I regret buying those typical low quality Asian shirts. The seams were also uneven. I heard Costco shirts could be better. Revain had a good price on these shirts but I regret buying them.

It's not "inflated" at all! I have several Hanes Beefy t shirts from a few years ago and they are real quality 100% cotton no BS. The new t-shirt is made of 90% cotton + 10% polyester, so you can see through the daylight. Factory. I expect them to go through 4-5 wash cycles and turn into a rag. For 6 euros it's not worth returning. But be aware.

Ordered 1 black and 1 gray size medium. Initially, they were both a bit taller than I expected from a medium. Between medium and large. I washed them in COLD water and tumble dried as usual. They both shrunk to a size between small and medium (smaller than my other medium shirts). That in itself isn't bad, if you're between small and medium, wash them and you might have the perfect fit. I ordered a medium size which Haynes says is for a 38-40 bust. My chest is exactly 40. When I tried the shirt on it was tight; so tight that I actually had trouble pulling it off. Then I measured the front of the shirt just below the armpits and got 19 inches wide; Multiply two by 38 inches. That explains why chest 40 was so tight.
