Please note that the order is misleading. The sizes given were 9-11 and 10-12. I didn't say what these sizes are for and normally socks are sold by the shoe size they are designed for. I will confirm this as the size of the shoes is stated on the box. However, it turns out that those two numbers are the SOCK SIZE. So my socks 9-11 were for shoe size 5-8.
