🔩 Securely Fasten Furniture with Double Headed Self-Tapping Hanger Bolts Review

I hesitated to order because I saw other info on whether it was really M10 or 3/8. When the box arrived a few minutes ago it was labeled 3/8" on the outside. I measured them and they are indeed 3/8" instead of M10. I would like to spend more money to get the right item. I have to use them tomorrow or I would come back. They will work "well enough" but my parts will be a little loose.

broken plastic leg on La Z Boy sofa. Found that they somehow sent me a European sofa (American spec - 5/16" screws). Bought some inexpensive wooden legs at a local hardware store and replaced the 5/16 hanger bolts with these M10 hanger bolts. Worked great. The flat spots on the shank between the coarse and fine threads make it easy to slide a wrench over them to tighten. I wish they had 4 packs instead of buying 8.

We have an expensive Natuzzi sofa and love seat that we bought a few years ago. The sofa seats were very low and it was difficult for the elderly to get up. I decided to replace the snap button legs with something longer. After research I found that the thread was M10x1.5. It is very difficult to find this thread size already installed in the interchangeable feet. I ended up buying replacement legs from Home Depot, removed the existing SAE hanger bolts, and installed those bolts. This worked…
