Skeptical about this colorimeter

I was hesitant to try this industrial and scientific device for substance analysis. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I found this colorimeter to be difficult to use and not accurate in its readings. While it was compact and portable, the price did not justify its limited functionality. Overall, I would not recommend this product for those serious about accurate substance analysis.

Pros
  • Highly accurate readings due to advanced colorimetric technology
Cons
  • Requires frequent calibration to maintain accuracy

Simple, inexpensive way to test silica

Save a lot of money testing silica on site instead of sending samples to the lab. We have several Hanna products and they all work great. These new portable devices are convenient and easy to use. Just need one for cyanuric acid now.

Pros
  • +/-2ppm +/-5% accuracy
Cons
  • Requires power outlet

Accurate and convenient!

I am a water treatment specialist. The tester works great. I understand that the test usually takes a while to measure silica, but it seems pretty accurate. Saved me a lot of time submitting tests and helped me sell devices! Thank you for a great purchase.

Pros
  • Adaptation of the EPA diazotization method
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
