I have read many reviews about this refractometer. I don't understand why people are dissatisfied there. They just never bothered about the usual optics, especially when it lies in all dimensions. Hanna is the best thing that has ever happened to us. We figured it out very quickly, put in the battery, immediately calibrated with pure osmosis and immediately measured the water from the aquarium. Everything is clear and simple. We are very happy! I have a live rock fish tank and I replaced those crappy salinity floats with a $40 refractometer.
