Based on my observations the HANSON Plug Tap is poorly constructed and not worth the cost. The tap handles may feel sturdy, but the threading is incredibly weak .This makes the tap prone to breaking during even the simplest of jobs. The one positive aspect is that the tap seems to fit into the drill easily, but unfortunately, that is not enough to justify the purchase. Save your money and invest in a more reliable product..

The fine threading results in a snug and secure fit every time, eliminating the need for additional screws. An excellent quality tap that appears to be very durable. Admittedly I only used it for tracking when I installed a hitch on the back of my machine.
