The picture shown is not what you will get. The picture shows that the teeth of the screw rise much further. Instead I got 25 3/4" collar screws to screw in. 1 bait and switch star.

These can be found at any hardware store, but I bought them because I have Prime. I had to install a large hinge on the gate. I use an electric impact wrench which sometimes doesn't work well with these lagging screws but I've put six of these in and none of them have come loose from the impact wrench, not a very smooth install so I'm happy

Fasten something heavy or important? These bolts are commonly used to secure loads to timber and they do a very good job. Make sure to drill a hole the same size as the shank of these screws before use or you will have a bad day.

These things are the best! They are made of some kind of metal, have a sharp end and a thread. If you attach some kind of tool to it, you can screw it into things. If you're looking for some things to screw into other things, you can do a lot worse!
