Description of 🐇 Amagabeli 36" Hardware Cloth 100 ft 1/4 Mesh Galvanized Welded Wire 23 Gauge Metal Roll - Ideal for Vegetable Gardens, Rabbit Fencing, Snake Fence, Chicken Coops, Critter Control, Gopher/Raccoon/Possum Repellent, Rehab Cages, and Windows

1/4 inch hardware cloth, ideal for snake fence, opossum rehab cages, chicken coops run, rabbit fencing, flower beds, wide gutters guard, fruit trees, vegetable garden, to keep out small critters such as voles, gophors, racoons, etc. The holes are only 1/4 inch to keep critters out and the chickens / rabbit safe, protect your garden fruits and vegetables from rodent animals. The 1/4 inch openings would have to be really small to get through. In the area of Wisconsion, Colorado, Cal kings, small baby copperhead snakes and rattle snakes come for damage seasonally. Dig a shallow trench before installing to ensure the fence is partially underground for peace of mind. It's galvanized and VERY rust proof. Double zinc coated hardware cloth for maximum rust resistance and long life. Wider weave not too stiff, the material will confirm to rolled shape as tree guards for fruit trees, 23 gauge easy to lay down and easy to cut with wire cutter/scissors. Keep gophers out of vegetable garden. Use this to protect vegetables and flower roots, bulbs, rhizomes, etc from tunneling animals. It can be used to make individual baskets or line raised garden beds. Use this material to line the bottom of your chain link fence and cut it in half by leaving it in a roll with a hack saw; it is plenty stiff for what you want to use it for. This mesh solved issues with snakes, gophor, skunk, chipmunks, rabbits and other creature living under your wooden deck.

Used for my stable

I used it to keep predators out of my stable. It cuts easily with the right scissors and is otherwise quite durable. It's pretty good value for money. When bought in smaller quantities, it's expensive. I don't think small predators can get through there.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Only available in black

Perfect fit for my coop

This is perfect for a chicken coop, unfortunately my flock has suffered from pats and I wanted to give my chickens a safe environment where nothing can get in and this is perfect. Small holes let nothing through, even small creatures. Highly recommended to improve the safety of your co-op or run.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Finally something to keep the rabbits out of the garden

After I was ripped off with "creature rubber cloth" that the rabbits ate right through, I used this hardware cloth to make the "large Weapon" taken. It was easy to work with (wear heavy gloves!). I used galvanized pins for attachment. It's certainly not big enough to keep the deer out, but it should scare away Peter and his friends.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • There are defects

Very easy to bend and mold into any shape you want

Bought this hardware fabric mainly to protect blueberry plants. Very easy to bend and create any shape you want. Just be careful with razor sharp cut ends. You can seal the side of the cut with tape, possibly with hot glue. While the hardware stuff worked great, I had a small issue with it. I contacted the seller and they immediately helped to fix the situation. With. Will buy again.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Some little things

No worries anymore!

My husband built this run for our 6 house chickens. A few years ago we had 5 domestic chickens killed by weasels. That's why we never wanted to wake up in the middle of the night again. When we decided to get new chickens we wanted something that would keep hawks and coyotes away. My husband put hardware cloth under, over and around the handle. It's a strong, durable wire and we feel safe at night locking up our new chicks for the night. Nothing will get through this wire except insects, which…

Great for chicken coops

This stuff is great for chicken coops and the price is MUCH better than most stores. We live in an urban area with lots of stray cats, raccoons, possums, hawks and a variety of other creatures that would love to feed on chickens and this stuff has kept them safe. We've even watched a family of raccoons try to get in and fail (partly because of Fort Knox's design, partly because the material is so strong). I will say that hardware fabric is very difficult to work with, especially after you've…
