It works, that's all you really need to know

This thing surprised me. The extra bulk really did it, and considering I've been in this business for years, I'm surprised I've never heard of anything like this.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Works like a dream

Crank bolt didn't move on impact, wasting more time than tooling cost. The first hit with the nest knocked out the bolt. The socket tool worked well for aligning my alignment marks as well as removing the crank bolt. Good buy, I recommend.

  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...

Head too wide for tool Useless combination

19mm head too wide for 50mm tool. For the combination to work, you need a thinner head. This combination is useless Honda guys! The person selling this kit has no mechanical idea of the application of the kit he is selling.

  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Not bad

Honda/Acura Crankshaft Pulley Removal Kit 2

29.99 in two days was the best logistics I could find to source the tools needed to repair my car as quickly as possible. I was hoping the weighted head would work with the Honda pulley tool. However, the outside diameter is slightly larger than the tool can handle. So you still need to use a standard wall 19mm socket to slide it into the tool as it will hold the pulley in place. The 19mm weight is the second method of removal with a percussion gun.

Pros
  • High test results for support and durability
Cons
  • Something else

You MUST have this outlet. Honda crankshaft pulley bolt

It took me 7 months to need this head. But I knew I wanted it from other reviews and YouTube videos. boys and girls. it works! MY GOD. I'm so happy. I used a large impact cobalt with a force of 650 ft lbs. He struggled a little with the first pull of the trigger. But the second time I pulled the trigger. bam He opened up. What a great feeling considering that bolt is known to be a monster to remove. If you own a Honda and are working on your car, take this bad guy. I compared several and this…

They are great - and not meant to be used simultaneously

Firstly they are not really used simultaneously when working with a Honda engine - there seems to be some confusion. Their purpose is to ensure the operation of the engine WITHOUT clockwise rotation of the crankshaft. Any clockwise rotation of the crankshaft is fraught with a valve timing error - on an engine with interference. Do not do that. The hex head is used with an impact wrench to loosen the crankshaft bolt. Since the crankshaft bolt is loosened counterclockwise, any rotation of the…
