Working and very easy installation

It certainly makes installation easy. I just removed my old 2011 Prius touchscreen radio and installed my new Pioneer. All functions work perfectly and no manual wiring.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Something different

Exactly what I need to not insert an adapter.

Everything was plug and play. It's that easy. It comes with extra contact wires in case you need them for steering wheel controls and such. I didn't need her. The strap was easy to use.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Compatibility

Not for Toyota 2020 Rav4

According to the description, it can be used for Toyota Rav4 2020 XLE! No! I was planning to install the amp in the car without cutting the wires. He said it would work. Head unit removed. No, Don `t worry. Keep looking elsewhere πŸ˜‰πŸ‘Œ

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Good but not great

Very easy to install

Wiring can be a daunting thing when you don't know what you're doing. But this wiring harness was very easy to install. I simply stripped some wires and joined them with red butt connectors for 18-22 gauge wire. I've had instant success so far with no problems.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Not what is described or pictured!

I bought this to fit a Pioneer Avic head unit in a 2012 Tacoma. The wiring harness was missing the red and black wires to add the steering wheel buttons as stated in the description. He also shows them in the photo. I tried to contact the seller and they didn't help.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Damaged

Made installation a breeze.

Worked for me, plug and play for a Pioneer unit in my 2014 Outback. I read somewhere that it was a 20 pin connector but no, it was based on the Metra 70-1761. No modifications or connections had to be made. What I'm still working on is how to get steering control, I'll find out in time.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Updates

A little harder.

I thought I'd save time and buy this pre-wired harness. Bad idea. Disclaimer: It came without instructions. Second, it was connected incorrectly! I spent 7 hours fixing the installation before finally realizing that two wires were in the wrong place. (Luckily I had an old wiring harness to compare with.) I had to use a special tool to pry the wires out of the connector and swap them out. After that he worked like a champ. Purchase at your own risk.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Modern

Scenario - Replacing my old 2010 "stock" Toyota Sienna radio with a Pioneer AVH-200EX touchscreen head Benefits - Installing the new radio became a breeze ) wires. Of the few wires I had to splice, I used Tyco Electronics' Tap/Splice connectors to make the connections without ONE cut in the cable. Cons - No instructions to speak of. Just a bag, a pre-wired bundle of cables and a prayer. You still need to visually inspect the unconnected wiring harness that comes with the radio to match specific

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • quick start guide
