As a lot of people say it's a great treat for them

I thought I'd try it for my black cap kennel as a lot of people say it's a great treat for them. However, it is too difficult for him. He doesn't like hard things. I'll try soaking it in water and breaking it apart a bit (I do this with his pellets and then he eventually eats them) and see if that helps. I hope he likes her. I don't want to give a bad review as many other birds can eat it and like it. It's just that my special bird can't eat it like this.

Ideal for dry skin and less feathers.

My big Bill Rex loves this and is given it regularly to keep his plumage and skin healthier. These birds need more fatty nuts 🌰 in addition to the kibble available throughout the day to keep their plumage and skin healthy. Their digestive system differs from that of most birds (it's more focused on cona nuts, which are their natural wild food). Other birds can develop fatty liver syndrome if they eat a lot of nuts. This is red palm oil. I supplement/treat with it and a dinner of cooked and raw

Pros

I gave 4 stars and not 5 ONLY because I didn't realize they were the size they are and I think the size should be described really clearly. They're too big for my Solomon Islands eclectus to bite into. Harrison feeds are very high quality and my only issue is the size - the color coding itself is not enough. Anyway, I'm debating whether to try breaking it up somehow or soaking it in some sort of fruit puree to soften it up just to give it some extra vitamin A. Other than that *they taste great*

Why did you change Power Treats?

I have been buying Harrison Bird Food for many years. I have several different types. I use Power Treats as a training tool in addition to what my Revain would say, "Yummmmmy" treat. Suddenly I open a new bag and it looks different but I think it should be the same. My birds took it and threw it on the ground! What did you do? It looks like you coated it with palm oil, but please bring the old recipe back! I have two packs of a new recipe that is utterly useless unless they start eating it. The

Harrison has a problem with the size of the treats

This is the second time I've bought energy treats. The first bag is no problem. My cockatoo liked them very much. 2. Pack of mixed size large releases with huge double uncut long rectangular pieces my bird is wasting. Not happy with this bag. I tried to post a photo but something doesn't work. I've tried many times. I contacted my carrier, got me to reinstall the app and still can't post the photo. Having seen the ingredients listed, I may not buy it again. Unfortunately my vet told me sugar…

I am buying these for my Mili Revane. She loves it. She has really lightened up and the quality of the plumage has improved. I'm not sure how old she is but I had her when she was 11 and people before her had 17 and she was a fully grown older bird (no history or unknown name) when they bought her from the bird shop on Lemmon. Ave in Dallas, Texas, August 1989. (Anyone remember the 1989 sale or trade of the Miley Amazons at the BackTalk Bird Center in Dallas?) Here ends their past story. If…

This food is highly recommended for your bird!

I have been using Harrison's food for my various small and large parrots for the past 20 years. It was recommended to me when I was in Colorado and was taking one of my parrots. I will never use anything other than the Harrisons for all my parrots! The health benefits are worth the little extra money you spend on this food compared to other foods on the market. And I'm speaking from my experience as I've tried almost all of them. have converted a few rescued birds to Harrisons and I'm talking…

Nuggets Daily Treat/Main Meal Harrison

This product, like the rest of the Harrison range, is great for birds. Region. Keeping them in a western home environment is just cruel. But many of us do. It is extremely important that we feed them properly. Harrison's was developed by veterinarians who understand the science of this species of bird. I trust them. Our gray has been eating the line for 18 years including power treats (just a handful a day). She loves and craves Power Treats, and she will readily eat Adult Lifetime Nuggets and…
