Almost Perfect.: Protective gear

The straps are too thin compared to the Hatch brand knee pads and elbow pads I use. Otherwise they hold up well. I use them for Filipino martial arts contact sparring with rattan sticks and my elbows are always protected.

Pros
  • Cool Max interior for moisture wicking
Cons
  • No performance

Great value for money

Too bad the straps are shorter for smaller hands. Speaking of straps, they also wear out due to the hook side of the Velcro. Otherwise comfortable, light and affordable. Elbow pads are great as knee pads for small people/women/kids.

Pros
  • Adjustable spandex shoulder straps with Hatch Quick Deployment Clips and Velcro for a secure fit
Cons
  • Pitfalls

There's a wearing technique I haven't mastered yet

They work but the first night riding the uni down the street I fell and scratched a hole in my Arctyrix Jacket. . There is a way to wear them if you expect them to slip on impact. I've crashed my uni a number of times and haven't hurt my elbows so they should work.

Pros
  • Lightweight TPU and Cordura nylon construction
Cons
  • Works

Best knee pads I have ever had

I play a lot of airsoft on my knees, gardening and even roller blade. You breathe, move away quickly, remember your settings from last use, and fail. They're comfortable and affordable considering how important your knees are. This is a must-have for tactical gear or everyday activities. Great knee pads!

Pros
  • High density EVA foam for superior cushioning
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

My favorite way to not bleed while exercising.

They are very comfortable and offer good protection. I've used them during tactical and long-distance training for mobility and balance exercises and they've worked great. They fit well over clothing and can be used with bare hands. They haven't broken my cycle at all after I discontinued them, which can easily be done in the blink of an eye.

Pros
  • High density EVA foam for excellent cushioning
Cons
  • Nothing

Good pads but not as pictured.

These comfortable, well-made elbow pads offer ample protection. However, they do not have the pull tab/bar attachments pictured - the straps are Velcro only. The grommet/locking mounts are the main reason I got these elbow pads. I really appreciated this type of closure on my Arc'teryx knee sleeves - they are much quicker and easier to put on and take off. Although the product is not as pictured I keep them because they work well enough.

Pros
  • Cordura nylon exterior for durability and CoolMax interior for moisture wicking
Cons
  • Running Speed

So far so good: Elbow pads

So far so good. These knee pads offer a great quick deployment feature that allows them to be sized just once and then simply snapped into place, they are comfortable for a long time as far as knee pads go and offer excellent protection. I've worn them for up to 5 straight hours while playing airsoft and they've been more comfortable than many knee pads I've tried before. PROS: Fast deployment straps Rubber traction on the kneepad Sturdy polymeric protection Antimicrobial fabric CONSโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Unique X-shaped thermoplastic urethane (TPU) shell
Cons
  • Unreliable

Product Misinterpretation

Firstly they are extremely comfortable, I don't think anyone would say they are tight. I wear them over a long sleeve shirt and can wear them for quite a while. I'm quite a fat person, 5ft 7in and 240lbs. so they are comfortable for tall people. My problem is misrepresentation of product information. The product here is alongside an obvious Marpat bandana, although the text says 'digital camouflage'. The product itself is actually a military UCP. Hatch makes good products, but the lack ofโ€ฆ

Pros
  • XTAK250 (P/N 1011212) Digitized Camouflage One Size
Cons
  • There are flaws
