When assembling the stairs, a clip broke. then other fastenings quickly loosened and broke. The steps are broken. This is a poorly made item that will quickly become junk.

Broken on first try. 3 screws were torn out of the wood and one board was completely torn. An attempt to contact support for an exchange or return was not possible. Save money and find something else!

The set felt solid when I took it out of the box. However, when I put the screws in, they didn't hold the bars in place. When we went to play and hit the bars, they just fell over. Apparently some of the screws weren't long enough. Very disappointing as we had company to play ladder ball with.

I had to drill a hole when assembling because it accidentally wasn't drilled when assembling. It's ok but after the first use one of the sticks broke in the middle. Now it's sealed and looks awful. I still gave it 2 stars because it had the potential to be a great product and is still better than plastic kits.

The first game we played, the bola stretched. I would recommend replacing the string with a stiffer cord/rope. In addition, the bolo and steps do not have a uniform distance from each other. Both were supposed to be 13 inches apart, but the crossbars on this set were about 11.75 inches apart and the spacing between the bolos varied from 16 to 24 inches. Not recommended.

Very easy to assemble but weak. One of the wooden bars broke while screwing it in during the first few days of use. It can no longer be used. I need to see if they sell spares or if it goes straight into the bin. I haven't checked their customer service yet, but will update this post when I do.

This is a decent product but some quality control is needed on the threads on the metal clasps (clasp buttons). At the end, the threads are not machined as it should be, so that there is a smooth transition into the metal of the fit without cross threads. This wooden set is way better than the plastic sets I've had in the past.

This is the second ladder game we have bought. Our family loves to play this game. This game would have gotten an A except that one of the rungs of the ladder broke at one end and cracked. We bought it for a weekend party so we used Gorella Glue to fix it. It worked for several games and then cracked when one of the golf balls hit it. Drop it!
