Hawk Performance HB159N 492 Plus Brake Review

Based on our own experience, these brakes have exceeded our expectations and provided unmatched stopping power. We have noticed an immediate improvement in our car's braking ability and feel much safer on the road. The Hawk performance brakes also have a longer lifespan than other brands we have tried .The ONLY downside is that they can be slightly noisy at times. Once installed these pads are excellent but following the instructions wasn't enough. On a "cold" Texas morning (maybe 35 to 40 F) the braking was so bad it was scary. until it warms up and is fine. I had to follow the advice of a friend who said to go from 80 to 40 several times until you can smell the fried pods. Once I did that they were great for car/track use or heavy traffic, never faded as far as I could tell and I wasn't afraid of hitting someone from behind on my morning commute. They…
