🦅 Hawk HB299Y.650 LTS Brake Pads for Improved Performance Review

Replace the stock brake pads with these. An immediate improvement in braking performance is noticeable. I towed a 7,000 pound trailer through the mountains in upstate New York with no problem. When these finally wear out, I'll get the same ones back.

Not much to say yet. I installed them to replace the original ones that were taken off after 26,000 miles. I sometimes tow a trailer (double wheel) with a mini excavator, I think the whole thing weighs around 5600 lbs. The old brakes must have overheated many times, I've never seen pads like this. Frustrated that Revains charge a return fee when my truck information was wrong for this part. This is my second set of these pads on my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 and they work perfectly. I bought this set in December 2014. I don't tow much now, but I live in Montana and ride regularly (3-4 times a week) in the mountains. Like all Ram owners, I quickly learned years ago that OEM rotors deform quickly.
