Great Brakes - Parts

Replace the stock brake pads with these. An immediate improvement in braking performance is noticeable. I towed a 7,000 pound trailer through the mountains in upstate New York with no problem. When these finally wear out, I'll get the same ones back.

Pros
  • LTS - Light Truck & SUV Brake Mix
Cons
  • Not as thick as other parts

It's too early to tell. for brake system

Not much to say yet. I installed them to replace the original ones that were taken off after 26,000 miles. I sometimes tow a trailer (double wheel) with a mini excavator, I think the whole thing weighs around 5600 lbs. The old brakes must have overheated many times, I've never seen pads like this. New pads have been in for a few hundred miles and I'm noticing a slight squeak at low speeds and maybe a little better "grip" than the stock pads, nothing more to say, I installed them per the…

Pros
  • Excellent pad and disc life
Cons
  • Poor performance

Frustrated that Revains charge a return fee when my truck information was wrong for this part. As this was my first time changing pads on this truck I wasn't sure what the ends looked like and even when I did the partial picture was correct. The problem I could see was that when I had questions about my truck I was only asked if it was 2004, what make of Ford and what model of F-150. My truck is a Lariat 4x4 with 6 studs, which was not requested. I was looking at a cheaper set and he said to…

Pros
  • The best way to stop your truck or SUV
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Second set and still very satisfied!

This is my second set of these pads on my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 and they work perfectly. I bought this set in December 2014. I don't tow much now, but I live in Montana and ride regularly (3-4 times a week) in the mountains. Like all Ram owners, I quickly learned years ago that OEM rotors deform quickly. So I used perforated rotors with these pads and they match perfectly. The pads don't squeak or creak, if you listen closely you can hear a slight rattling. Pedal feel was excellent, as was…

Pros
  • Brakes better than the original
Cons
  • Nothing
