I like having the brake pedal travel as close to zero as possible.

I have used these pads before and am amazed by their performance and durability. I usually change them when they are about 1/2. They offer no fading, low dust, no rotor damage and excellent wet performance. High-quality brake components are a must for me.

Pros
  • Minimal fading at higher temperatures
Cons
  • Not bad

Exceptional upgrade to standard pads.

I installed these replacement pads on my 2007 Toyota Tundra and 2015 Toyota 4Runner. Both have much better control and stopping power. I am very happy with the Hawk pads and haven't had any issues. Brake dust on the wheels not noticed. I'm towing a 5,000 pound camper with the Tundra and not the 4Runner. In any case, both sets performed very well. Completely satisfied.

Pros
  • Extended pad life
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other pads

These are the best brake pads I've found since asbestos went away - hard but smooth as silk! I bought a used 2006 4Runner three years ago and have never been happy with the OEM brake pads. I threw out those pads and did a complete brake job with those pads up front, another set of Hawk pads in the rear, and new rotors all round. The improvement in braking is incredible. I don't carry heavy loads and try not to overload the brakes. However, I often drive on mountain roads. These pads work when I
