colors not perfect good for me

bought these for the white light. Installed under my cabinets as a night light. buying an LED strip light that is white only, and tunable between warm and cool white, seems to be more expensive. These are reasonably priced and still have the option for other colors. Easy installation, and so far the adhesion is good. I'm No Longer a "Smart " Light Newbie

I have to admit that I didn't realize these were "Smart” lights until they arrived. I was just ordering some cabinet lights for my kitchen but when they arrived "wow”. I'm so glad that these are "smart’ lights. So convenient and "smart".Here is my experience:I'm middle aged and a little techy for my age but I do get a little nervous setting up new devices. Fine SmartLife controller, so-so LED strips

I'd probably really rate this 3-3.5 stars, but decided to round up. The functionality is what I expected based on the Tuya SmartLife platform and works as expected. Ignore whatever other app they might say to use (I didn't bother looking) and just start with SmartLife.My reason for the 3-4 star range is really related to the quality of the LEDs used in the strip. They say they're 5050s and they do appear square, but don't look as big as I'm used to. I'm willing to say that's an optical illusion

I want to warn you: if you do not know how to configure your 2.4G Wi-Fi modem, you will not be able to connect this tape. Once you connect a tape, you will have endless possibilities to control this tape using your voice or phone. I added this feed to the Smart Life app on my iPhone and it works great. Awesome lights but will require app to get full control of them.

The lights themselves are really well made because they have a thick layer of resin over the LEDs, this does make them a bit heavier than the regular ones but i haven't had any issue with the adhesive falling. I also like that it has three separate LEDs, the Three small RGB lights grouped together and the white and warm white separated, this gives the two white colors a more accurate tint. The main thing i really like about the lights is that they use Wi-Fi and are controlled with the Tuya app.

I like the concept but.

I have a small closet so I set up this lights internally so I can search for things in the dark and it really looks great, I only wish the lights will be brighter for that purpose. The thing I don't like is when I have an internet outage the light comes on and off until the internet is back, because those outages ocurred at night I had to get up past midnight to unplug the device until next day. I can't use the app for that.

Doesn’t last - my new review

These were good while they lasted. The control module has stopped working after 6 months and the lights now just flash. Cannot be reset and cannot be found on any device to set them back up. Useless now.Update: The seller has reached out and made this right. Great customer service and they stand behind their products!

Perfect for lining a bar rail

These are easy to install and I love compatibility with alexa, but the lights themselves are kinda weak and blurry- not like individual lights but appear more as a stupid of light. They work well for lining a bar railing or something similar to give it a bid of a glow from underneath.

Easy to set up, easy to use, very beautiful!

Very easy to set up with the provided instructions, can be easily controlled via the IOS app! I absolutely love the different presets and scenes in the app. Will definitely recommend it!

Will not sync to the app

My niece was disappointed that she could not get the lights to sync to the app. She had multiple people try and even tried It with my sisters phone. Definitely regret getting this as her Christmas present.

Good product overall

Said it came with a connecter to keep the two pieces it sent together, it doesn't. Ended up having to cut off thr ends and use connectors I bought to keep them together. Works great after a lot of work though (adhesive is useless outside, buy retaining clips)
