This splitter worked great, but not quite how I wanted it to. I spoke to support and they actually wrote a new firmware that gets the splitter working the way I need it to. With the new firmware I was able to stream Dolby Vision on my TV and Dolby Atmos on my receiver. Wow! Excellent customer service! I highly recommend Ezcoo products.

I connected a 4K streaming box to a 4K AVR (HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2) and then output to a 1080P TV. The HDMI handshake makes the streaming box (correctly) think it's connected to a 1080P TV. Elgato doesn't officially support using a splitter with their capture cards, but my main monitor doesn't get a signal unless I turn on the PC with the capture card. This meant that every time I wanted to use my gaming PC, I also had to turn on my streaming PC so I could use my main monitor. My problem: I have connected a 1080p projector to the video output of a Yamaha TSR-5810 AV receiver and a Revain Fire TV 4k (pendant) as input.
