I have used a variety of Head and Shoulders products for several years. I've only ever used activated charcoal shampoo. I liked it and decided to order the 2in1 formula. Big mistake. If I had known that the 2 in 1 formula smelled very strongly, I would not have bought it. Don't get me wrong, it still works but the smell is too strong. Even my wife said it was too strong. Therefore, I would advise you to try smelling this product first.

I've tried other Head and Shoulders formulas and was happy so I went with the activated charcoal formula. It lathers well, the smell isn't unpleasant, but no matter how I wash and rinse, it leaves a film on the hair that turns it into an oily, sticky mush.
