Hats are the best. I'm a tennis player and my hats are failing me. I have 4 of these and they wash every time they are used. No problem. No color fading, no color bleeding. Put them in the washing machine and hang to dry. The best is the black color under the edges. I've paid a lot more for a "tennis" cap that doesn't have this. All sports headgear should have this feature to reduce glare. The only problem is that they are hard to find!

I have had this hat for 3 years now. It has held up well to almost weekly washings. he doesn't smell. The underside of the brim is black which is great at reducing light and not distracting (I have another hat with a white underside that has a stain and I always think my hat has a bug). I sweat a lot. This hat doesn't hold all the sweat but works better than any other band, peak or hat. this absorbs the sweat at least up to the brim of the hat. i have black and white i prefer white

The velcro closure is perfect for the hat to sit perfectly on my head. The hat really absorbs sweat. What I love about hats is that many hats (e.g. baseball caps) have a terry cloth lining which is great at keeping out sweat. This hat has no such lining on the headband. (See the photos of the two visors I need to see what I'm talking about.) It's very thin and well ventilated, so it's definitely useful for thermal management. The sides are a bit too long for me. I'm a sweaty guy. I usually go beyond simple sports headbands, and the cotton hats I've used for running harden over time due to mineral buildup. Even with this hat I can cook more than I need but remember this is a thin hat it will keep you cool and dry which it does. Extreme training is required when I overload the hat, and it does a good job of directing the excess away from my face.
