I am a fat woman over 40, so good bearings are a MUST for me to move comfortably and quickly on the rink floor. They really let me ride at least twice as long as my rollerbones. I've been riding these bearings for 3 months now and they work well. I haven't had any problems and they are very smooth. They don't spin as long as ceramic bearings when turning the wheels manually, but I'm not sure if that correlates to friction under load. Overall they are extremely smooth and I'm sure they will last a lot longer than ceramic and steel.

These are the best bearings on the market. My daughter is a professional figure skater preparing for the Olympics and skates exclusively on Heady Shake bearings. She rides both built-in longboards and professional skateboarder stock. She rode her Super Swiss Ceramics and asked me to change her bearings and wheels for Heady Shakes because she wanted to go faster.

I just love these bearings. They're great out of the box, but after a few days (or hours) of riding, they offer the smoothest ride! Built-in spacers also allow for easy replacement. They're cheap compared to them, but they beat the competition out of the water! I bought 3 sets (1 black, 2 gold) for 3 different board types and they made a difference every time. Well I really like these stocks. The former go much faster than any of my other camps; The flame sector and bones are red. More sustain with every press.
