Very nice - made of metal, nice design and glass look - plus - heats up very quickly. Love it - appreciate it's not rectangular and fits well in my corner.

The light coming from the backs was annoying but I managed to fix it. (For liability reasons it doesn't say how, but think about it, it's easy to fix and there's more than enough ventilation for the light)

Warms up a large room. The temperature can be easily adjusted to regulate the desired temperature. The fireplace controls are behind the door, which I like because the switches are not visible. Looks just as described and well made. Delivered quickly and on time. Very satisfied!

I saw this unit at a friend's house and I knew the flame looked absolutely real. Everyone else had some pictures with perfect flames and some not so good ones. There is no noise when using the fire function and the top does not get hot - nothing gets hot. When the heater is on, the fan blows heat into the room so you can still put things on it. Put this in my husband's man cave/office as he works from home. Our back room where he works is drafty because it is an extension to the house built by the original owners and it is next to the back door. He wanted a "chimney" and it was a compromise. Arrived in good condition. Easy to assemble (you just have to assemble the legs!) I can agree with some of the other reviews that it doesn't generate much heat. The fan/vent is on the bottom and seems to direct the airflow straight up and up so you basically have to be right in front of it to feel it. My wife loves this thing. The chassis is nice, the fire effect is clearly fake, but "don't really try" - so what more accurately imitates fire can easily fall into the "scary valley" but it's not: this is clearly a fire effect, isn't it artificially the fire.
