It's a sealed bag!

I have joined many other users who put this backpack in their hiking backpack to protect it from the rain. Works perfectly!

Pros
  • quick change
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Ideal for hiking

I use it as a waterproof lining for my backpack. Fits perfectly in my 58L bag and with a little care is strong enough to last a long time.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • For seniors

Put your travel junk inside

Use these to line my backpack to keep my sleeping bag and extra clothes from getting wet. They have a volume of 18 gallons (about 68 L) and are big enough to fit in your bag and clothes.

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • For old

Too much money.

I purchased this product with multiple boxes per order. When I later tried to re-order the same item, a box arrived for the same price. Unacceptable, so I sent it back immediately.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • No instructions

Perfect waterproof lining for hiking backpack

I have a 40 liter hiking backpack. I used it on the 8 day LASH Appalachian Trail. It worked great - waterproof content protection, easy to use, and because it's white it was easy to peek in the back and get what I needed without having to unload everything.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • old

Great for my purpose

I am NOT using them according to the manufacturer's instructions. I use them as a waterproof liner in my hiking backpack. I open it, put it in my backpack and start filling it. It doesn't tear, it's much larger than the inside of a backpack so you get full coverage and everything inside stays dry. +++ for this use.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Speed

Used in my bag for hiking

Looks a bit pricey but I bought these bags to put in my hiking bag. They are strong enough to put in a sleeping bag and other items you want to keep dry over and over without the sleeping bag tearing or stretching. I have used the same bag on several trips. The bag is the perfect size for my 60 liter backpack.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • No insurance
