Worked well to fix a broken weld nut on my truck frame. There was no way to sharpen or replace the welded nut due to its location. It fit perfectly and allowed me to fully assemble all my parts. Tip: Use plenty of oil to lubricate the faucet and turn it frequently to break up the shavings.

I bought this set to repair threads in an aluminum engine block. I removed the block and placed it on the stand. I used a metric tap to knock out the threads but unfortunately the tap was inaccurate and the thread was too loose. This kit installed without any problems and restored the block to a usable condition. This is exactly what I needed!

Works great. Please note that you will need a 31/64 drill bit. This size isn't usually available at your local big box store, so you might as well order one of these if you get this set. You'll never need one of these, but they sure come in handy when your job goes wrong. Make sure you take your time and do it right. Take your time with the tap and use some lube and you'll be fine.
