Overview with notes on connecting the relay.

Great horn, very loud, will buy another one if I ever need a horn. If anyone wants installation instructions that are a little easier to follow, then read on. RELAYS: (Numbers on bottom of relay) Pin #85 on the relay must be grounded. #30 goes to the positive on the battery or any constant power source. #86 goes to the existing wire to your old horn button/or new horn button, whatever you have. #87 is the positive wire that goes to the horn terminals/connectors. HANDLES: There are two…

Used these to replace the horns on my 2008 Toyota Prius. For those who own at least a 2004-2009 (possibly later generation) Prius 2nd generation, these horns will replace your standard silent horns. BUT. It's very important that you understand that this is a two-pronged horn, so it requires a little extra wiring. Believe me, a person with no experience, this is not so bad. What you need to do is plug in the original adapter (after removing it from the original horns) and then plug it into the…

Plug and play for 2020 Rav4 Hybrid Limited

I have decided to change the horn on my 2020 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid Limited Edition. Although the Toyota horn is a traditional sound, I wanted something louder. Remove the faceplate, access the horns and disconnect the existing horn wiring harness from the stock horns. The first thing I noticed is that you need to adjust the position of the Hella horn so that the existing wiring harness reaches to the connector. There is a black screw that you loosen to turn the Hella horn to adjust the position…

This kit will NOT fit the 2005 F-150!

The horns look and sound great although the description says this kit will fit my 2005 Ford F-150 pickup it is not. Here's the problem: the OEM horns are bolted together, unlike the Hellas which have separate brackets (easy to fix). BUT . . . OEM horns have ONE female connector that connects to the wiring harness that powers the WALLPAPER horns. Hellas EACH has a socket and no wiring harness, so it is not possible to connect both horns at the same time. The stock horn wiring harness is…
