I don't know why a reviewer criticized the elasticity from two sides. Mine came from no direction. Soft but makes it difficult to put on.

This is a very good leather girth, well tailored for the horse but my main concern is that the girth has elastic at both ends. No matter how tight you tighten the strap it will never become tight enough to hold the saddle in place as it is a double elastic system. I've noticed more and more of this type of RCA being offered and I don't see why they had to fiddle with the good thing (stretchy on one end) in the first place.
