Bought for my 82 year old mother-in-law. Cordless phones became too complicated for her, and sometimes she didn't hit the end key. It is easy to use by just hanging it on the stand. (Or you can use the speakerphone.) She loves that the two programmable buttons let us enter our phone number and her daughter's phone number. She doesn't need a louder call just yet, so keep it low. We both appreciate large dial pads, no glasses required.

This phone is perfect. My mother-in-law can't see very well, she's 78 years old and she can't use the phone because she can't read numbers. When we brought her this phone and plugged it in, she went nuts. The numbers are big enough for her to see. There are also memory buttons for pre-programming. There are many glitches during a call. I've been trying to fix this problem since I bought the phone by buying a new receiver cable and wall cable. It seems fixed one day and terrible the next. This phone is for my mother who lives in a nursing home. Her friends called me and said they couldn't call my mother because the noise was so loud they couldn't hear it. I've experienced the same thing. I want to return this phone but it says the return period has expired. Can you help me.

The phone was well packaged but had some issues setting it up. 1) The handset is missing a hook and will fall off the base when the base is installed vertically on the wall. 2) The end button on the base did not work or was not recognized when the handset was placed on the base. The phone kept the line open. At this point, hands-free mode was disabled. 3) The phone continued to emit pulse tones which could be heard on the handset even when no keys were pressed.
