I understand that the product is not designed for artificial grass, but myself and others were curious if it could handle it. It mows the lawn but puts a heavy load on the motor and stalls. Just wanted to share in case others are curious.

This is a fantastic circle cutter. Very easy to use, cuts through 8 layers of 12oz denim with no fuss. Make sure you unplug it and keep it in a safe place as you can easily turn it on by pressing the power button. Difficult to cut notches and corners. I usually have to get my scissors out to trim corners (even if I'm only cutting a layer or two). Otherwise I have no problem with it. I'm left handed too. Very good experience. Bought this because I have two Herc cutters with 4" blades and love them. However, I wanted one with a smaller blade to handle tight turns. no questions asked. But I use very little because, among other things, the design makes it difficult to control. First, the shoe is so narrow that it makes the knife unstable, it's difficult to keep it level on the cutting surface. Secondly, the handle is very bulky, with the blade trigger under the handle. I bought a manual rotator and this thing couldn't make me 2 easy projects before it was so stupid I had to press hard and of course the fabric was slipping all over the place as I mostly work with lycra.
